The answer was that there was an updated part installed, and all should be good. When I picked it up, I asked what was wrong and what had been replaced. When I called to ask how it was going, I was just told I would get a call when it was done.ДЄfter the month of waiting, and grass growing, they finally called and said it was ready. They had it for a month, without any kind of communication with me. After mowing a couple more times, I decided to bring it back again, since it was still under warranty. This year, I started using the mower again, and after a few times I started noticing the transmission issues again. This shaking started right as I was about to use it for the second time since new. I replaced the blades to make sure everything was good, but it still shakes. I can't remember hitting anything, but took their word for it. I also complained about a shake while the deck was running, and was told I had to have hit something. It seemed to be better, and I used it for the rest of the season. Last summer when I first complained about the issue with the transmission, they took it in and made some adjustments, at least that's what they told me. I've bought saws, and a blower from them, as they've been my preferred dealer, hence the reason for going back when I needed the mower. I bought this mower from my local Husqvarna dealer, where I also get saw parts from. If there's a spot where I need a little extra oomph and push the pedal in to speed up a little, it loads up and slows down again. My yard is kind of hilly, so when the mower slows down because I turn to go back up the hill and I push the pedal further in, is when I'm having issues. It would bog and load up the engine if I pushed the forward pedal further in while going uphill. At first the new mower worked fine, but very soon I noticed that the transmission was acting up. Replace the spark plug boot firmly onto the spark plug.I bought a Husqvarna 18542 riding mower last summer to replace an old Craftsman that needed to be retired. Place a second adjustable wrench on the jam nut, and tighten it clockwise until it contacts the adjustment nut behind it tightly. Hold an adjustable wrench on the adjustment nut to keep it in position after the front-to-rear adjustments are made and the front is 1/8 to 1/2 inch lower than the rear. Place the adjustable wrench on the inner nut, which is the adjustment nut, and turn it clockwise to raise the front of the mower deck or counterclockwise to lower the front of the mower deck. The adjustment area has two nuts on it the outer one is the jam nut, and the inner nut is the adjustment nut. Walk to the front of the mower, and loosen the jam nut on the front link adjustment with an adjustable wrench, moving the nut counterclockwise until it no longer contacts the adjusting nut behind it. The front measurement should be 1/8 to 1/2 inch lower than the rear measurement. Measure the distance from the bottom tip of the front and back of the blade to the ground. Turn any mower blade 90 degrees so the tips point toward the front and rear of the mower deck. Turn one nut or both nuts to lift one deck side or lower the other side until the measurement from the bottom of the left blade to the ground is the same as the measurement from the bottom of the right blade to the ground, leveling the deck from side to side. Turning the nuts counterclockwise lowers the deck, and turning them clockwise raises the deck. A lift-link adjustment nut is on each side of the mower. Insert an adjustable wrench on one of the lift-link adjustment nuts behind the driver's seat. Measure the distance from the bottom of the left blade to the ground and the distance from the bottom of the right blade to the ground. Put on leather gloves, and turn the cutting blades on both sides of the mower deck so they are horizontal from the left to the right side of the deck. No tire should have more air pressure than the amount listed on the tire. If the pressure is lower than the amount embossed or imprinted on the tires, then add air to the tires by using an air compressor or bicycle tire pump. Remove the valve stem cover from each tire, and check each tire's air pressure with a tire air pressure gauge. Open the engine hood, and remove the black, rubber spark plug boot from the spark plug. Turn the ignition off, and remove the key from the ignition. Raise the attachment lift lever on the left side of the driver's seat to the highest setting. Push the attachment clutch switch on the left side of the dash upward to disengage the cutting blades. Park your Husqvarna riding lawnmower on a flat surface.Д®ngage the parking brake lever with your left foot.
